The Senior College curriculum at Scotch contains many different choices.

Subjects are scheduled through to Year 12 if there is sufficient student demand for the subject. We will generally not offer a subject with low student numbers. New SACE subjects, or combinations of subjects may be offered on the timetable if there is sufficient student interest.

In some instances students may not be able to take a particular combination of subjects as it is impossible to offer every combination. The timetable, grouping of subjects and class sizes are determined by student demand and it may be necessary to ask some students to modify their subject combination.

Some subjects have specific achievement standards and/or previous study requirements as prerequisites. A Year 12 student will have precedence over a Year 11 student, if difficulties arise with class sizes.
