In Year 8 students belong to a Middle School Mentor Group and to the same learning groups for English, Mathematics and Science. All students develop skills and technological competencies by using laptop computers across the learning areas.
2009 Year 8 Course Information, Course, Sport, Dance, Music and SPACE forms can be downloaded before making your selections and returning them to the Head of Curriculum. Books are purchased through Lighthouse Books.
As an integral part of the College’s policy of integrating Information Technology across the entire curriculum, all students in the College purchase a laptop computer on entry, to be used in class on a regular basis.
Printed information about the laptop computers available to students is given to parents at an information evening held in Term 4 each year.
