Heads of House maintain regular contact with all boarding parents regarding their child's academic, social and sporting progress at school. Parents are welcome to visit the College and many of our boarding parents are active in the College community through participation in the College Council, Parents & Friends Association or other volunteer groups.
Community dinners are held regularly throughout the year right around Australia and overseas. A Boarding Parent's Network is run informally to enable parents to liase with Heads of Boarding and other boarding parents.
The Boarders Watch is produced each term for boarding parents.
Scotch News is a fortnightly publication for current parents available by email or downloaded from the Scotch website. The wider Scotch community is kept informed of activities and events through Scotch Reports which is published twice a year. Cluaran is a wonderful annual Year Book publication usually delivered in the first week of the new school year.
The boarding houses are equipped with telephones, facsimile machines, and internet connections. Students are permitted to carry and use mobile phones and each student has their own email address. Regular letters, emails, phone calls and faxes are encouraged to enable students and their families to maintain close contact.
