Guardians

Home/ Enrolment / International Students / Guardians

ICTAll international students need an adult relative or a family friend who is over the age of 25, lives in Adelaide and holds Temporary Residency, Permanent Residency or Citizenship of Australia to act as a guardian. It is the responsibility of parents to arrange a guardian for their child. The guardian acts as a liaison between parents and the College, where necessary.

The guardian meets the student on arrival and accommodates them until the Boarding Houses open on the evening before term commences. The Boarding Houses are closed during mid-term breaks and school holidays, so unless the student travels home they will need to stay with their guardian at these times. Supervision may be accommodated in the Boarding House at an extra cost for students unable to find this accommodation.
