Scotch College has an extensive and comprehensive program of outdoor education. The College has excellent outdoor education resources, with many experienced staff and modern equipment suitable for a wide variety of activities.
Each year level at Scotch, from the Junior School through to the Senior College, has a separate camp which is a compulsory part of the curriculum. There are also a number of voluntary camps and other extension activities.
Scotch outdoor education aims are:

To develop independence, self reliance, confidence and social awareness

To improve physical and mental health through development of interest in Outdoor Education as a non competitive and individually fulfilling activity
