Ligertwood Library is open Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. The library can be contacted via email at library@scotch.sa.edu.au or you can Ask a Librarian via the form below on this page.

Staff and Students have a wealth of library e-resources, easily accessible from Coneqt or Seqta (our Learning Management System).

These electronic resources include:

  • Library Catalogue
  • Twig
  • Reference Guide
  • Wheelers eBooks
  • Clickview
  • Brittanica Encyclopaedia
  • Explora
  • EBSCO
  • and more.

eBooks, Laptop Chargers & Headphones

We have a large selection of ebooks available to borrow through our Wheelers ebook catalogue - this is accessed by students through The Library page on Coneqt. There are now quick and easy ways to read via phone and iPad apps as well as on student laptops. The Library also stocks a selection of chargers for laptops and phones for a 2-hour loan. This has proved useful and popular for students. There are also a number of headphones they may be borrowed short-term for students in the Library.

Gilchrist Library (Mitcham Campus)

The Gilchrist Library is open Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 3:40pm (closes 3:15pm Mondays), and aims to provide a warm and inviting environment for use by the Junior School Community. The Library offers an extensive collection of current print materials and provides access to electronic resources.

As well as weekly Library lessons, students are encouraged to visit the Library regularly for reading, borrowing and research. Children’s literature is promoted as an integral part of the students’ learning, along with research, information literacy and library skills.
