Congratulations to members of the Scotch community who were recipients of Australia Day Honours in 2020, Albert Bensimon and Peter Combe!

Albert is a parent of past Scotch students (Tanya '91 and Toby '96), while Peter is a current grandparent and served as a staff member in the Junior School during the 1980s.

Albert has been recognised with a Medal of the Order of Australia for his services to business and the community while Peter has been awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for service to the performing arts, particularly music for children.

Most South Australians will be exceedingly familiar with both high profile honourees, either through brushing their teeth with orange juice, or buying their jewellery without the hoo-haa.
