End of Term 1 Update

Dear Parents

May I express a huge thank you to you all for your support, attendance and goodwill over the last term.  We have seen enormous achievements in the classroom, evidenced by the very positive feedback we get from our students in our PIVOT survey.  We have seen triumphs on the field of the play in all our summer sports, and our students once more have made us very proud.  We have made a flying start to preparations for “The Addams Family” – our show on Torrens Park Campus – and the much anticipated “Dear Edwina Junior” from the Junior School.

Alongside these excellent artistic and sporting endeavours, we have seen superb efforts by students in the areas of oratory and public speaking, service learning and leadership training.  I never find it difficult to find themes for eNews each week because a busy, ambitious and active school like ours generates positive news and at all levels from Junior School through to Senior School.

Many of our activities are supported by you as parents.  Our P&F and Parent Support Groups are amazing collections of highly talented and highly motivated people.  Thank you for all that you do for us.

We have packed a lot of activity into Term 1, and Term 2 is now well prepared for.  I trust our students continue to be ambitious to develop themselves for a hugely exciting future, and that they have a restful and enjoyable break before the rigors of next term and the oncoming winter.

Yours faithfully

Dr John Newton
Principal
