Malt Fiction and Hitmen Headline Youth Film Festival

Malt Fiction and Hitmen Headline Youth Film Festival

Congratulations to our highly accomplished Film Making students, who collected some incredible awards at the Adelaide International Youth Film Festival this week.

Harry McGinty, Mieka Thompson-Mills, Fletcher Turale and Jim Martin shared in $600 worth of prizes and were awarded Best Film (Senior School) for their short film, Malt Fiction. Nick Burt was awarded $1000 in prizes and the Film Maker Encouragement Award for his dedication to the craft of film making and his entry, Hitmen, starring Ned Baulderstone, Harry Feidler and Hugh Whittle.

This marks the second consecutive year that Scotch Senior School Film Making students have taken the top prize! You can watch both short films below!

Congratulations to Millie Fidge (Year 11), who has been selected for the U18 Australian Softball team and is off twitter.com/i/web/status/1
