Scotch retains Summer Intercol Trophy 2017

Scotch retains Summer Intercol Trophy 2017

After a competitive few days of sport, Scotch successfully retained the summer Sporting Intercol trophy last week against Pulteney Grammar School.  It proved to be a really intense few days of competition for our Scotch teams across a wide range of sports, and was great to see such a healthy competitive atmosphere across all sports.

Victories in the Middle School Girls Basketball, the Boys Open A tennis, Girls and Boys senior first eight Rowing, Boys First XI Cricket, and finally in dramatic style in the Girls A Softball match, all ensured that Scotch did enough to claim the Summer Intercol honours.  So well done teams!

So a big congratulations to all the Scotch students who represented the school so well to ensure we kept the trophy again this year. Also many thanks to all the parents and all the Scotch community who came out to support our teams this week. It was and is always great to see your support for our teams and athletes.
