Sporting Recap: Term 4 Week 6

Sporting Recap: Term 4 Week 6

As we draw towards the end of Term 4 sport, we celebrate another fantastic week for Scotch, with some outstanding team and individual achievements.

A massive congratulations to our Scotch Drive Tennis team, who defeated Woodcroft 7-2 over the weekend, and in the process, officially earned promotion to Division 1 in 2018!

The Drive team captured the Division 2 Championship - an outstanding achievement and a reflection of the quality of the Scotch tennis program. Congratulations again to all of our players and coaching staff, and a massive thank you to all of our wonderful parent volunteers.

DSC_0233.JPGIn Cricket we celebrated the success of two of our young First XI Cricketers, Sam Fuss and Mitch Andrewartha, who received their Senior Boys First XI cricket caps this week. A fantastic achievement and milestone for the boys - congratulations!

Unfortunately the team fell to a strong Rostrevor side, but the team has come together well in Term 4 and are now looking forward to their Interstate competition in Geelong in January 2018.

In Volleyball, both Senior and Middle School teams registered strong victories.

Finally, we wish a massive congratulations to Scotchie Callum Coleman-Jones, who was selected by the Richmond Tigers at pick #20 in Friday night's AFL Draft!

A great result for CJ, his family and for Scotch. We all wish him the very best with his professional career and look forward to following It with keen interest.
