Sports Recap: Term 2 Week 5

Sports Recap: Term 2 Week 5

Week 5 Sport included a top of the table victory in Hockey and a number of SAPSASA representative selections.

Our Senior A Girls Hockey continued their undefeated run in the IGSSA Div 1 Competition, defeating Walford 2-0, maintaining their spot at the top of the premiership table.

In Football, the Boys First XVIII defeated CBC in the SAAS Championship Southern League to claim top spot. Under the new SAAS structure, this means that the First XVIII will be promoted into the SAAS Premiership for Round 2 of the season. Congratulations to the team on their win and promotion - good luck in Round 2!

In Soccer, Year 6/7 Gold and Year 6/7 Blue both earned victories against Woodcroft and St Peters respectively.

In Netball, our Senior Girls cam up against strong Seymour squads, with the B's managing a hard-fought 31-28 victory, while the A's lost a tough contest by 7 goals. Our Year 10 Netballers had 2 strong wins during the week.

With the Long weekend, the SAAS and IGSSA competitions have a break this weekend. We do still have our mid week schedule with Middle School Hockey, Girls Soccer and Girls Football to look forward to. Good luck to all our players in those games!
