Sports Recap: Term 4 Week 5

Sports Recap: Term 4 Week 5

It was another week of strong Scotch performances in Week 5, led by our cricketers.

Our Primary and Middle School teams continued their strong run of form, defeating St Peters, Pulteney and Blackfriars respectively. Our Second XI had a fantastic win against Sacred Heart and continue to develop each week under the great guidance and mentoring of coach Peter Sleep. Our First XI Boys faced their toughest challenge of the season in Rostrevor this week, losing to a very strong side. They face PAC this weekend in another tough encounter. Our Girls XI Cricket side continue to impress with another win, this time over St Aloysius. The girls remain undefeated in their SACA competition.

In Volleyball our Middle School teams continued their good form with wins also against all St Johns Grammar sides.

In Badminton, both teams played against St Johns and won both their matches convincingly. Well done all!

A reminder that on Tuesday 27 November, both our Girls and Boys Primary A Tennis teams are in the SAPSASA final versus Fulham North. More information to follow, but in advance we wish them the best of luck. Fingers crossed our Scotch teams can claim both the trophies next week.
