EVENT

Join us for a celebration of 100 Years of Scotch College Rowing!

In 1926, Scotch College Adelaide first affiliated with the Adelaide Rowing Association and sent two Tub Fours to the Henley-on-Torrens. A year later, our First VIII took to the water at the same regatta — and a century of tradition was underway.

To mark this remarkable milestone, we invite all past rowers, coaches, Directors of Rowing and past parents to come together for an evening of reflection, reconnection, and celebration.

📅 Saturday 9 May, 6:30pm
📍 National Wine Centre, Hickinbotham Hall (New Venue)

Tickets are $40, including canapés and a drink on arrival, with a bar available on the night for beverage purchases. RSVP essential by Friday 1 May, please note that numbers are limited!

This is your event, and the evening has been designed with that in mind. Formalities will be kept intentionally brief, leaving plenty of time for what matters most: reconnecting with the people who shaped your rowing years.

Every attendee will receive a commemorative cap as a keepsake of the occasion.

Each past member of a Premier rowing crew, who rowed in Head of the River, will receive an individually numbered pin, marking their unique place in Scotch’s rowing history. This honour recognises:

  • The 1926 First IV
  • The Boys’ First VIIIs, 1927 to 2026
  • The Girls’ First IVs, 1978 to 1988
  • All Girls’ First VIIIs thereafter

Whether you rowed for one season or many, this is your reunion — and your history.
