Scotch College Adelaide is proud to host DigiFest, a 2-day highly interactive celebration of digital technologies in education. DigiFest 2025 also introduces evening sessions aimed at parent education and up-skilling.

Sessions are hosted by industry experts, leading educators from Scotch and beyond, and students at the forefront of utilising AI and other advanced technologies to enhance everyday life.

📍 Purruna Learning Spaces (Level 1)

The evening will run over 2 sessions, with 3 interactive presentations in each session to choose from. After a short welcome, Session 1 will run from 6:10 – 6:50pm, and Session 2 will run from 7:20 – 8:00pm.

Some sessions are suitable for both parents and students, while some may be suitable only for parents (listed below).

Session 1 Presentations:

• How Gen AI is Transforming Education: What Students and Parents Need to Know (Recommended for: Year 9-12 students and parents)
• Generative AI for Real Life: From Household Hacks to Business Success (Recommended for: All students and parents)
• Scotch Smart Starts: Digital Safety and Smart Choices for Young Learners (Recommended for: parents of Years 3-7)

Session 2 Presentations:

• It’s Not What You Know, It’s Who You Know: Building Your Digital Network Beyond High School (Recommended for: Year 9-12 students and parents)
• Is My Child Cheating or Learning? The AI Homework Dilemma Decoded (Recommended for: Years 5-12 students and parents)
• Level Up Your Parenting: Navigating Online Gaming Risks and Rewards (Recommended for: Parents of Years 3-11 students)
