EVENT
Over Term 3, our Year 7 students have been exploring the fascinating world of wellbeing, investigating how the brain shapes our thoughts and behaviours. Parents and guardians of Year 7, our Year 6 cohort, Year 12 Psychology students, and special guests are invited to join us as students present their research and findings at the 2025 Year 7 Wellbeing Conference!
📆 Thursday 25 September 2025, 9:00am – 11:00am
📍 Purruna Spencer Newton Centre
Our Year 7 students have been taking part in hands-on activities such as a neuroplasticity cup stacking challenge, and are engaging in the Healthy Minds Program with Dr Nehmy. This year, their journey as ‘honorary wellbeing scientists’ has been extended through a Wellbeing and English collaboration. Students are not only researching a topic of personal interest related to wellbeing, but are also challenged to persuade others why their findings matter.
Following the excitement and success from the last two years, the 2025 conference is developing into an informative and inspiring morning, showcasing the voices and passions of our Year 7 students.
