Simplifying your life at Scotch

Introducing ScotchLife, our digital parent communication platform and mobile app!

Launching in Term 4, 2021, we're simplifying your life at Scotch with ScotchLife. The days of searching through your emails to find the sport fixtures is a thing of the past - we won't be sending you ANY more bulk emails. All of your communications in one place, delivered to your phone or tablet.

Your whole Scotch life in the palm of your hand

For the College calendar, events, performing arts, co-curricular, sport and school life matters, download the new ScotchLife app on the Google or iOS App store (free).

For all matters of curriculum, academics, school reports and education, there's Seqta Engage (or SeeSaw for our Reception - Year 4 Junior School parents). For our ELC families, ScotchLife will completely replace SeeSaw as the single communications platform.

We're committed to reducing clutter in your email inbox and will only send fee statements by email (you'll still be able to send 1 to 1 emails to College teachers and staff).

Download the ScotchLife app on your phone today by clicking the iOS App Store or Google Play Store buttons below.

Not just an app

Not only is ScotchLife an all-access smartphone app for parents and students, it also provides parents with an intranet platform to access a huge range of school information including campus pages, information about co-curricular activities, sports and events.

From your phone, tablet or desktop computer, visit app.scotch.sa.edu.au and login with your Scotch credentials.

Getting started

To access ScotchLife, you'll need to have successfully set up your Scotch login credentials with our IT department - these details will be sent at the end of Term 3 2021 for current families, and for new families, this will be set up during the enrolment process prior to commencement.

Once you have been through this process, you'll need to login with your new Scotch credentials. Your login ID will be your Scotch ID number in the format of an email address.

For example, if your parent ID number is 12345, your ScotchLife user ID would be 12345@scotch.sa.edu.au. You'll also need to use the password you've chosen to gain access.

Joining Relevant Groups For You

During the setup process, you'll be subscribed to the hub pages for each of the campuses your children are associated with, your child's class page (Mitcham Campus families only), and the Parents & Friends Association.

You can also join other groups, ranging from sport to debating, on the app or on desktop! Simply by tap the "My Groups" icon in your ScotchLife mobile app, then the 3-dot menu and click "Join Groups", joining whatever you like. On desktop, simply click "Join Groups" in the left hand menu. Then all you need to do is click "+ Join" on each group you'd like to be a member of!

By default, you'll receive notifications from us each time a notice is posted in one of these groups, or when receiving a direct notice from the College on your dashboard.

You can manage all of your notifications quickly and easily by visiting app.scotch.sa.edu.au and clicking the profile button in the top right corner, and selecting "Settings". You can toggle to unfollow (mute) any of the individual groups of which you are a member, or you can scroll further down the list and manage global notifications quickly and easily.

Need a hand?

If you're having trouble setting up your Scotch ID, or can't find your credentials, simply get in touch with our IT Help Desk via helpdesk@scotch.sa.edu.au.
