Peter Tulla (’83, Chair)

Peter is a past student and parent of Rachel (’15), Jessica (’18) and Brianna (’20) and is active member of the community since joining the Infrastructure Committee in 2010. With his background in the construction industry, ensuring the continued improvement of the built environment at Scotch is a focus of Peter’s input to the College. Mr Tulla has had over a 30 year association Quantity Surveying / Cost Management consultants, Rider Levett Bucknall and is a Director of the Adelaide, Perth and Darwin offices, currently is Chairman of their Oceania and South East Asia Board and is a member of their global board. Peter is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors.

Jock Merrigan (’87)

Jock is the founding owner and managing director of Urban Habitats Australia Pty Ltd, an award-winning Adelaide based residential design and construction business. With over 20 years’ experience, Jock is a design and construction industry specialist with a detailed knowledge and understanding of the Development Act, Building Code of Australia, Australian Standards, South Australian and Federal legislation, new products and on-site practices. He undertakes business development and investment analysis, considers planning and environmental issues, negotiates contracts, designs and drafts projects, as well as maintains an onsite project management and scheduling role.

Sam Nairn (’89)

Sam is a registered Architect, currently employed at Lendlease as a Senior Design Manager, where responsibilities include coordinating, managing and prioritising design deliverables to ensure value, program and budget risks are effectively managed, on major projects. Sam previously worked for Woodhead for 13 years, a national architectural practice, as the Practice Director and was responsible for the day to day leadership and management of the Adelaide Studio.

Brett Nilsen

Brett joined Aurecon in Adelaide 22 years ago as a Civil Engineer. Following a career designing and project managing infrastructure projects across ANZ, he returned to Adelaide and is now responsible for overseeing Aurecon’s Infrastructure Market comprising transport, water and land development projects.
