Parents, Old Collegians and members of the Scotch community are invited to join Scotch’s Leader of Digital Technologies Dr Nick Jackson for a hands-on evening with a range of Generative Artificial Intelligence tools that can be utilised in business and everyday life!

Wednesday 6 March, 6:00 – 8:30pm

Dr Jackson and student Digital Leaders will share insights, strategies, tips and tricks on how to get the best out of popular Generative AI tools, with a focus on common uses to enhance your life and save time.

You can bring your own device and be guided through getting started with chatbots, image generators and other useful tools. Many of these tools will also work on your mobile device, but for the most in-depth experience, we recommend bringing along your laptop.

If you do not already have your own accounts with the tools/apps listed below, we recommend signing up in advance to free versions, and aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to the session starting to get setup and connected to our WiFi network for the evening:

• Microsoft Co Pilot (https://copilot.microsoft.com): Sign in with an individual account using a Microsoft Live, Outlook or Hotmail account. If you do not have one of these then you can create one for free
• ChatGPT (https://chat.openai.com/auth/login)
• Otter AI (https://otter.ai): Sign up for the freemium version (Basic Plan)

We also urge you to sign into these tools before arriving. This will prevent delays due to issues with logging on.
