After our official opening, the exhibition will be open for viewing in the Ligertwood Library on weekdays until the end of August.

This exhibition forms an official exhibit in the 2026 SALA Festival. The South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival is a statewide festival of visual art taking place across South Australia annually, during the entire month of August, both in traditional galleries and non-traditional arts spaces.
About 3 Bags Full
Students were challenged to design and construct a coordinated collection of three different sized bags for an identified target market. Using recycled garments, recycled materials, or a combination of both, they transformed discarded textiles into functional and purposeful designs. Linked by common design elements, each collection demonstrates innovation, technical skill, and a commitment to reducing textile waste. We are proud to share their work as part of this year’s SALA exhibition.
